We have several committees whose purpose and responsibilities are critical to the success of the Atlanta Chapter.
Everyone is encouraged to sign up for a committee.



Community Outreach

This committee is responsible for planning community service projects for the chapter.

Fundraising Committee
Chair: Sharon Thomas-Wright
This committee plans, organizes, and promotes our fundraising activities as well
as solicits donations and contributions from individuals and corporations.

Membership Committee
Chair: Gena Townsend
This committee is responsible for welcoming new members, coming up with new
ideas and strategies to recruit new members, and reclaiming lost members.

Program Committee
Chair: Maurice Granger
This committee is responsible for coordinating chapter events, other than
fundraising events.

Public Relations Committee

This committee is responsible for publicizing chapter events.

Student Relations Committee (formerly the Scholarship Committee)
Chair: Darlynn Jordan
This committee handles all requests for chapter-funded scholarships including the selection
of the recipient(s) to be awarded. They also regularly attend local college fairs.

Technology Committee
Chair: Patricia Livingston
This committee maintains the chapter website and e-mail distribution list.
