Membership Information

The TSU Atlanta Alumni Chapter would like to encourage you to become a member. Membership dues are vital to our organization as we strive to provide scholarships and book stipends to worthy Atlanta area TSU students.  The fiscal year is from June 1st to May 31st.  However, due to processing times, all dues paid after March 31st will go toward the next fiscal year.  For example, dues paid between April 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009 will be counted for the current 2008-2009 fiscal year.

Your support is greatly appreciated.  However, you do not have to be a paid member to attend our monthly alumni meetings or otherwise support our chapter.  Please don't let that be a deterrent and keep you away.  We are always in need of fresh ideas of ways to raise money for scholarships and book stipends.

  • Regular membership in the local alumni chapter is open to all TSU alumni residing in the metro Atlanta area. An alumnus means that you attended TSU for at least one semester or quarter term.
  • Associate membership is offered to any non-TSU graduate who has a supportive interest in the local chapter or the University.

Annual Regular and Associate membership dues are currently $70.00 ($72.50 if paying via PayPal®), comprising $35.00 for local chapter dues, $10.00 for regional dues and $25.00 for National dues.

  • Life membership within the National Alumni Association is $500.00. You will no longer have to pay the $25 national portion of your dues.**
  • Millenium membership within the National Alumni Association is $250.00. You will not be required to pay the $25 national portion of your dues for 10 years.**

**If you are a paid-in-full Life or Millenium member, you only pay $45.00 ($47.00 if paying via PayPal®) for local and regional dues each year. You may also pay for Life or Millenium memberships over a period of one (1) year from the date of your first payment.

Checks are to be made payable to: TSUNAA - Atlanta Chapter.  You may pay your dues at any local chapter meeting or you may mail it to our P.O. box.  Download the application by clicking on the link below and mail it in with your dues payment.

**Please do not submit a dues payment without submitting the membership application with it.  Also, for proper record keeping, we do not encourage paying for dues in cash unless paid directly to the treasurer or financial secretary and a receipt obtained.
