Our chapter is led by a dedicated group of alumni who are passionate about TSUNAA Atlanta's mission and vision. Together, they work tirelessly to organize events, support scholarships, and engage with the community to ensure our chapter thrives. Our officers bring a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to the chapter, ensuring that we stay true to our mission and continue to make a meaningful impact.

    Brittini Barnes, Vice Pres.

    Brittini, a proud native of Stone Mountain, Georgia, class of 2007 with a degree in Business Administration – Marketing. A trained chef and former K–12 educator, she’s taught in Nashville, Atlanta, and Germany.

    She now serves as an instructional designer for a local non-profit, where she continues to champion inclusive, engaging learning experiences. Brittini is also a founding member of Absolutely AX, an affinity group of the TSUNAA.

    She’s never far from a garden bed, a good idea, or a better way to do things—and always makes space to celebrate the small wins and the big heart behind the work.

    One of Brittini’s favorite TSU memories? Studying abroad in Tianjin, China for six weeks—a life-changing journey that sparked her lifelong passion for global learning and connection.

    Sandra Rice, Treasurer

    Sandra, a Kansas City native, graduated from TSU in 1978 with a degree in Business Administration and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Psi Chapter.

    Her career spanned roles in tech and public service, including positions at United Information Systems, Digital Equipment Corporation, and the State of Georgia. Now semi-retired, she continues serving her community through The Art of Living and as Co-Chair of Decatur Cooperative Ministries.

    Favorite TSU memory? Interning at RCA in New York, traveling to HBCU games, and forming lifelong friendships.

    David Lunsford, Membership Chair

    David, originally from Alexandria, Virginia, majored in Business Information Systems. He's focused most of his career specializing in Storage & Virtualization Engineering, Cloud Operations, DevOps, Software, and A.I. Development.

    One of David's favorite TSU memories is working with the University's "Institute of Effectiveness & Research" to design a database system enabling the Department and State Board to easily identify target market areas for student recruitment amongst other state-wide Universities. Our design came in the "Top-3".

    Patricia A. Livingston, Technology

    Patricia A. Livingston, TSU c/o '87, is a former member of the Aristocrat of Bands.  She majored in Mathematics and minored in Engineering at TSU.  She is an IT professional from Atlanta, GA, and has served on the Technology Committee for the TSU Atlanta Alumni Chapter for many years.  She is a dedicated alum and is willing to go above and beyond to further the vision and mission of both Tennessee State University and the TSU Atlanta Alumni Chapter.

    One of Patricia's favorite TSU memories is visiting and performing in Tokyo, Japan with the Aristocrat of Bands!
